Eastern Michigan Eagles Basketball Buffalo Sport reviews
Can’t blame the venue for the crowd
I prepped weeks before the concert by checking Google Maps to see where the different parking structures were, and how far they were from the House of Blues. The staff that night was friendly. Got a bit lost on the way up there but you eventually figure it out by looking at the directory and asking around. The women’s restroom attendant was patient and sweet; she didn’t speak a word of English but we got the message: she had candy and gum for us. Honestly I had such a blast. It’s not all that far! I’ve always dreamed of going to see Eastern Michigan Eagles Basketball live and it was FINALLY happening. Speaking of people, some of the concert goers did get pretty annoying since they kept jostling us whenever they wanted to grab drinks or what have you. But for what it’s worth, I’d say having to stand the entire 3-ish hours wasn’t bad. My poor friend had to make sure to stay away from the spill. Just make sure to stretch your legs and move around as best you can without hitting the people around you. Unfortunately it is standing room only, meaning no assigned seating and you can only get seats if you upgrade to VIP. I was afraid that since the venue was a bit smaller than say the Staple Center in LA for example, I thought my friend and I would have a horrible experience and wouldn’t be able to see Sabrina or the stage at all. But turns out, even if we didn’t get the “best” spots, we still were able to get pretty close and they weren’t horrible. Eventually my friend and I ended up getting pushed back a little from our previous position when it got closer to Sabrina getting up on stage. That was to be expected though. We had to deal with a couple of drunk folks but again—to be expected—and one of them even dropped their drink on the ground. The people were annoying and kind of took away from the experience because it was distracting but eh what can you do? It still wasn’t SO BAD to the point where it ruined my whole experience. I’d suggest to really stand your ground once you get a spot and make sure to not let anyone try to scootch their way to get closer. It felt like some people made it seem like they originally had a spot they were trying to return to when really they just were trying to get closer.
